Sky Q
Can I watch my Sky on a different TV if I only have 1 sky box ?
Yes but you need a Sky Q mini box. Sky Q no longer use the old magic eye system, it now works over wifi, so no need for wires from the dish or phone line to feed the additional mini boxes. This gives FULL functionality including access to recordings from the other boxes.
Or you can run a HDMI lead and split the signal so both TVs would show the same picture.
Why don't my other TVs work since i had a new Sky box ?
The new Sky Q box doesn't include the RF1 and RF2 outs that the Sky HD+ boxes had. You would now need a Sky Q mini box or boxes.

What's the difference between Freesat and Free-to-air ?
Free-to-air ? - Don't bother !
In a nut shell “normal English speaking” channels would be lost amongst the 300 + free-to-air channels broadcast on the 28°E satellite group, so BBC and ITV have made it easier to use and called it Freesat.
Freesat is most of the main stream English / Welsh speaking channels that have been packaged and made easy to watch by BBC/ITV . These are supported by the Freesat guide button so you can see what's on and record etc.
If you put your satellite box into free-to-air mode there is all the Freesat channels PLUS a very confusing jumble of other channels in no particular order, mostly none English speaking such as Indian, Pakistani, Arabic, Chinese, Sky(scrambled) , None Sky(Scrambled) + 17 XXX channels. These are not supported by Freesat, you wont find them in your Freesat EPG (unless you add them).
